Finch Aggregates was proud to support the construction of a new train station project with several products and services over a 12-month period.
Our involvement began with the initial site muckaway from the virgin land area. This was to ensure that any waste or spoil was professionally and methodically removed from the site during earthwork operations. As with all the primary tasks on a build such as this, the highest levels of service delivery are demanded for muckaway to allow the rest of the project to develop on time, to budget and at the desired levels of high quality.
Finch Aggregates was also trusted with the supply of bulk 1A Fill material for the construction of the railway embankment. This worked in tandem with the continuous and sustained deliveries of both quarried MOT Type 1 Subbase and pipe bedding materials that we provided for the life of the work. Our provision of recycled road planings were key to the sustainability targets of the project being met in a responsible way too.
